Pastor makes U-turn over GEJ’s N7 billion bribe

– Kallamu Musa Dikwa has apologised to the people he maligned over N7bn allegation

– Pastor Bosun Emmanuel, one of those maligned attests to Dikwa’s apology

Pastor Kallamu Musa Dikwa who last year alleged that the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Pentecostal Fellowship off Nigeria (PFN), received N7 billion from Goodluck Jonathan to facilitate and support his reelection has retracted his earlier statement.

Pastor Dikwa has apologised to Oritsejafor and Oyedepo over allegations that they received N7 billion from Goodluck to facilitate his reelection.

Dikwa has specifically apologised to the president of CAN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor; general overseer of  the Living Faith Worldwide (Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo and secretary, National Christian Elders Forum (NCEF), Pastor Bosun Emmanuel for the embarrassment he caused them following his allegation.

According to Vanguard, one of the pastors he implicated in the alleged, bribery scandal, Pastor Bosun Emmanuel in an interview said Dikwa had apologized to the pastors he offended.

Recall that during the electioneering campaign leading to the 2015 elections, Musa Dikwa addressed a press conference in which he claimed three ministers of the gospel, the president of CAN (Pritsejafor), Bishop David Oyedepo and Pastor Bosun Emmanuel received N7 billion from the Jonathan administration to mobilise ministers of the gospel nationwide to campaign for his re-election.

Dikwa alleged that the CAN leadership received the funds on 21st of January, 2015, and gave N3 million to each of its state chapters.

He said the CAN leadership distributed to its national membership a small fraction of what it received, keeping to itself well over N6 billion.

In another development, Bishop David Oyedepo has challenged the present administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to proffer solutions to the socio-economic challenges facing Nigeria rather than blaming any political party or individual for the current travails facing the nation.

The founder of Living Faith Church worldwide (Winners Chapel) has also urged that Buhari to be more sensitive to issues that affect ordinary Nigerians.

Speaking with journalist at the fifth founder’s day celebration of the private university he established in Omu Aran, the bishop noted that things had not been working well in the country.

But he said there is no point pointing accusing fingers at others for the current problems in Nigeria because every individual has a role to play in helping the country recover its dignity.
