Chris Rokos, the cofounder of hedge fund Brevan Howard Asset Management who recently launched his own firm, has been ordered to pay £8,000 ($11,500) a month in child support to his ex-wife — and that's not even the craziest part of the lawsuit.
Bloomberg's Jeremy Hodges reports that Rokos, who is worth about $950 million, had actually been paying £4,000 ($5,760) a month more than that before the ruling.
Claims in the suit included £6,000 ($8,640) a year for Uber rides and £5,000 ($7,200) a year for swimming lessons, according to Bloomberg.
But perhaps the most notable part of the suit is the £10,555 ($15,200) a year that Roko's ex-wife, Veronica Antonio, claimed for wine.
As the judge noted in his ruling, the child in question is only seven and probably isn't consuming any wine at all.
That said, he still allowed "a significant figure" for wine.
