ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said paramedics and other services arrived on the scene and found a badly damaged taxi that had overturned lying on its roof.
“Three patients were trapped in the taxi. Fire and rescue services, with the assistance of paramedics, used the jaws-of-life and other rescue tools to extricate the patients. Upon assessment it was found that they sustained serious injuries.”
