– The narration of the man who died and came back to life after 100 years is a big lesson
It could baffle some people, when some unimaginable events are narrated to them. Such people do say, how will such a miraculous thing happen? But, amazing things have happened in the history of mankind, that will make the mouth to be agape, after listening to such narrations.

During the time Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon his noble soul), he requested for some unimaginable things from Allah, which he was granted. Prophet Ibrahim, who is also known as Abraham, was a true servant of Allah. He asked his Lord to show him how a dead man could back to life. His Lord told him to get four parts of birds and put them on top of four different mountains. He was later instructed by Allah to call the birds, which he did. And, surprisingly, all the parts came together to form a whole bird.
The man who died for 100 years was reported in chapter 2, verse 259 of the Glorious Qur’an.
In the verse, Allah revealed what happened to a man by the name, Iskilu around 599 BC. Iskilu came to a particular town which was in ruins. He asked himself, how can this destroyed town become lively with people again? Immediately, Allah made him to die for 100 years. When he was back to life, Allah then asked him through his angels, for how long has he been in the ruined town. He answered, a whole day, or half a day. However, when he looked at the donkey he rode there, it had decomposed with its bones remaining. Likewise, his food and water were not there again. However, right in his presence, Allah commanded the flesh of the donkey to return. And miraculously too, the donkey came back to life and stood up.
The lesson from the summary of the events that happened to Iskilu shows that anything difficult for a person to achieve could be achieved if the person is consistent and resilient.
