In a rather dramatic fashion, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state was on Thursday, March 9, spotted driving a tipper on the streets of Ado Ekiti, the state capital.
According to Vanguard, the people’s governor who stated that he was into truck business before becoming a governor, noted that he would continue to act as a common man irrespective of his present status.
While charging his people to be proud of their chosen means of survival, he asked them to be hardworking and committed.
With the maxim, dignity in labour, Fayose encouraged the people further, adding that those who are diligent are bound to rise to greater heights irrespective of their academic background and social status.

Meanwhile, Governor Fayose was also recently spotted buying bananas from a young boy whom many presumed should be in school at the time of purchase.
The governor’s claims, it was gathered, was that he helped the young chap sell his wares which would probably have been difficult for him.
