Juvenile’s poise tricked cops
For a 16-year-old, he held his nerves remarkably well as he parried the police questions on the murder of 9-year-old Lalit Sehrawat with whom he was last seen on the day the boy disappeared. For two days he outwitted the police, leading them on a wild goose chase that saw the law enforcers detaining a dozen suspects. Even when the police got him to finally admit to the crime, he held out a full day before identifying his accomplice.
