Huckabee: Don't Pretend Trump Voters 'Are Stupid, They're Angry'
Former Governor Huckabee appeared on Fox and Friends this morning to admonish his party that a brokered convention will be disastrous for Republicans. Steve Doocy asked,
After last night, will the Republican Establishment finally get behind Donald Trump who now seems unstoppable on the Republican side?
All three of the Fox Friends questioned failed Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee about the Trump freight train that can't be stopped at this point. Huck's daughter, Sarah Huckabee-Sanders is now a part of Donald's campaign team. Always the jokester, Huckabee noted that
'Huckabee-Sanders is not a proposed ticket, just want you to know that.'
That got the giggling triumvirate of dunces really chuckling. He refers to the establishment as 'them,' which is rather hilarious given his job at Fox 'News.' He explains the current situation:
HUCKABEE: If you want to oppose Donald Trump, do it. But don't pretend that somehow, that all these voters who have gone out and voted for him are stupid, they're not stupid. I'll tell you what they are. They're angry, and they're angry at the very establishment who are going nuts that Donald Trump is doing so well.
