The jewellers from Noida's Sector 18 market, the major commercial hub of the city, have gone on a three-day strike starting today in alignment with the jeweller community pan-India to protest against the proposed re-imposition of one per cent Excise duty and mandatory PAN cards for any transactions of Rs 2 lakh and above.
