The most beautiful Wi-Fi router we've ever seen is just around the corner — here's an exclusive preview
Starry
In January, a new company called Starry announced an ambitious plan to take on the cable and telecommunications industry by launching a wireless, high speed broadband network.
Starry's internet service generated a lot of excitement, but it also overshadowed another product unveiled that day: The Starry Station, a WiFi router that's unlike any other.
A router, of course, is usually an ugly, boring box of plastic that you hide in a closet or cabinet. But the Starry Station, which has a touchscreen display, is designed be out in the open in your home, sort of like a piece of furniture. And it does much more than your typical router.
Meet the Starry Station, which begins shipping to consumers at the end of the month.
This is Starry Station.

StarryAlex Moulle-Berteaux, Starry's chief marketing officer, told Tech Insider that traditional routers are hard to manage and people get frustrated if they lose a signal and can't stream Netflix and don't know why.
"What we’re trying to do is bring visibility into these things so that you can get powerful WiFi performance and... visibility into your device ecosystem," he said.
