#OneChanceChange: You need to see these 20 reactions criticising Buhari, APC ‘change’
During the campaign period before the 2015 general elections, President Muhammadu Buhari and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) made a lot of promises to Nigerians.
The APC promised the people ‘change’, though they did not say what kind of change and expectations were quite high.
According to Lai Mohammed, the minister of Information and Culture, Nigerians largely misunderstood the Change mantra with which his party campaigned and won the 2015 presidential election.
Too many things are going wrong at the same time and the ruling party has continued to blame the previous administration led by Goodluck Jonathan. There’s fuel scarcity, the value of the Naira has been fluctuating, no power and yet they want to increase tariff.
Well, 11 months after voting the APC into power, some of the people who were chanting ‘change’ and ‘sai Buhari’ are no longer convinced Buhari’s administration can deliver on its promise. They have made a U-turn and are now mocking the change mantra, which they have hash tagged ‘OneChanceChange.’
