Sola Asedeko was unknown prior to acting in Tunde Kelani’s film Abeni. But the Lagos State born actress has been in the industry before she appeared in Abeni. Though she studied creative arts at the University of Lagos and has acted in many movies before she was given that lead role that transformed her career.

How did Tunde Kelani pick you up bearing in mind that you had not really appeared in a hit movie before?

The fact that Tunde Kelani picked me up shows that I have a talent in me. He is also a man that can turn a little thing into big. But the fact that he chose me shows that he saw something in me.

When you joined the industry, how did the big girls you met in the industry take you?

They welcomed me well. Every one of them was warm to me. I really appreciated it

Tell us what quality you admire most in a man?

My man must be God fearing and focused

I am talking of physical attraction

Okay, I like men who are good looking and caring. It does not matter if he is short or tall

No, I have not been sexually harassed.

Is it due to the fact that you started with Tunde Kelani?

No, not because I started with Tunde Kelani, being sexually harassed is a matter of choice. The industry is such a big place where you can do anything you like. So the ball is in your court. If you want to be harassed, you will be harassed.

What stands you out among your peers?

My unique figure stands me out. My physique is uncommon in the industry. I have a very sexy and appealing physique. My face is also unique

Are you fashion freak?

Not at all! I only wear what makes me comfortable and look good on me

How do you relax?

I relax by watching movies. I am an indoor person. I don’t go out; so when I am not doing anything I stay at home and watch movies.
