El-Rufai employs 2,550 Nigerians into newly created agency
-The Kaduna state governor, Nasir el-Rufai has employed 2,550 persons into a newly created agency in the state
-The employees will be in charge of regulating traffic in and around Kaduna metropolis
-The agency is expected to boost revenue generation of the state
Kaduna state governor, Mallam Narsir el-Rufai has employed 2,550 persons into newly created agency in the state
As part of efforts to reduce the high rate of unemployment in the country, the Kaduna state governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai has employed 2,550 persons into the newly created Kaduna State Traffic and Environmental Law Enforcement Agency (KASTELEA).
The general manager of the agency, Col Abdullahi Zubairu Ahmed (rtd) stated this in Kachia while supervising the training of recruited staff.

Ahmed noted that this is the first kind of employment that was conducted without any rancour adding that it would ensure sanity and to reduce number of deaths on the roads.

He stated that the agency would help generate revenue for the state as whoever is caught violating traffic regulation would be made to pay a token to the state.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna state governor Nasir el-Rufai has been taken to court by a Kaduna-based lawyer, Maxwell Kyon, over his administration’s free school feeding programme.
