Central regulator Genetic Engineering Appraisal Committee (GEAC) has asked Delhi University's Centre for Genetic Manipulation of Crop Plants, which is seeking permission for the release of GM mustard, to “revise“ its bio-safety report following concerns raised by farmers' bodies and NGOs.
