Pinning its hopes on the Telangana government, the fund-starved Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has forwarded proposals worth Rs 1,700 crore to the municipal administration and urban development department seeking allocation of the amount in the 2016-17 budget.
