AmazonAmazon has given a pretty big push to some of it’s most popular products over the last 24 hours. Last night during the Super Bowl, the company ran a star-studded commercial for the Amazon Echo, featuring the likes of Alec Baldwin, Jason Schwartzmann, Missy Elliot, and a stadium’s worth of snack food.
But beyond a Super Bowl ad buy, Amazon is pushing its products with some great deals heading into Valentine’s Day, specifically on Kindle e-readers and Fire tablets. Both families of devices are currently available at their lowest prices since Black Friday, with the original Kindle available for $59.99 and the Kindle Paperwhite just $99.99. Additionally, the 7-inch Fire tablet is discounted to $39.99, while the Fire HD 10 has dropped to $179.99.
If you have an avid reader or techie as your Valentine’s date this year, either of these deals could be the perfect addition to a box of chocolates, flowers, or teddy bear. And if you’re single and have a little extra spending cash — because you don’t have to pay for a fancy dinner for two this weekend — maybe it’s time to treat yo’self. The deal ends on February 13, so act fast if you want to cash in on the offer while it’s still available.
