Nose-dived into the ground: plane crash caught on video

Tengrinews.kz — Footage of a light aircraft crash in Mexico has appeared online. According to local media, four people were killed in the accident.
As reported by the Daily Tribune, the incident occurred around noon local time on April 2 in the state of Puebla, near the town of Santa Ana Xalmimilulco in the municipality of Huejotzingo.
According to local authorities, the light aircraft, a Cessna 172, crashed just a few minutes after taking off from Hermanos Serdán International Airport in Puebla. The plane was heading to Poza Rica, but shortly after takeoff it went down in a field near an industrial park.
Preliminary reports indicate that there were four people on board.
Three died at the scene, while another injured person was taken to hospital and later died there.
A video of the crash moment has spread on social media.
The footage shows the aircraft losing altitude shortly after takeoff, suddenly pitching nose-down, and crashing into the ground.

According to the Financial Express, Mexico’s Federal Civil Aviation Agency said the Cessna 172 lost contact with air traffic controllers just minutes after departure.
One witness, Vicente Hernandez, said the pilot was trying to regain control, but the aircraft was already flying at too low an altitude.
The official cause of the crash has not yet been announced.
According to media reports, Mexico’s federal aviation authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the disaster.
Meanwhile, an Air Canada Express aircraft collided with a fire truck while landing at a New York airport. About 100 passengers were on board, and dozens were injured.
