Three days of bad weather: Astana to be covered in snow, Almaty to see heavy rain

On March 5, partly cloudy skies are expected, with snow at night and precipitation (rain and snow) during the day. Ground blizzard and icy conditions are forecast. Southwest wind at 9–14 meters per second, with gusts reaching 15–20 meters per second. Air temperature at night will be -4 to -6°C, during the day 0 to +2°C.

On March 6, partly cloudy, with snow at night and in the morning. Ground blizzard and icy conditions are expected. Southwest and south wind at 9–14 meters per second, with gusts up to 18 meters per second at night. Air temperature at night -5 to -7°C, during the day -2 to -4°C.

On March 7, partly cloudy, with snow at night and precipitation (rain and snow) during the day. Occasional ground blizzard and icy conditions are expected. Southwest wind at 9–14 meters per second, with gusts up to 15–20 meters per second during the day. Air temperature at night -5 to -7°C, during the day -1 to +1°C.

On March 5, partly cloudy with occasional precipitation (rain and snow). Occasional fog and icy conditions are expected. Southeast wind at 3–8 meters per second, with gusts up to 15 meters per second. Air temperature at night -1 to +1°C, during the day +6 to +8°C.

On March 6, partly cloudy with occasional precipitation (rain and snow). Occasional fog is expected. East wind at 3–8 meters per second. Air temperature at night -1 to +1°C, during the day +5 to +7°C.

On March 7, partly cloudy with rain during the day. Occasional fog is expected. East wind at 3–8 meters per second. Air temperature at night 0 to +2°C, during the day +7 to +9°C.

Kazakhstan to see more snowfall

Earlier, meteorologists reported that over the next three days Kazakhstan will be under the influence of a series of northwestern cyclones. Most regions are expected to experience unstable weather conditions, with precipitation in the form of rain and snow. On March 5–6, heavy precipitation (rain and snow) is forecast in the south and southeast of the country.
