Cold and snow to hit Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet forecasters have presented the weather forecast for 19, 20 and 21 February.
Sharp cold snap in southern KazakhstanMeteorologists note that this winter has treated the southern regions of Kazakhstan to unusually warm weather.

“However, winter is still winter, and in the coming days it will remind us of itself. As cold air masses move across the south of Kazakhstan, they will bring precipitation (rain turning to snow), with heavy precipitation in some areas,” the forecasters said.

Strengthening winds, icy conditions and a significant drop in air temperature are also expected – during both daytime and nighttime hours, temperatures will fall to between +2 and +7 degrees Celsius.
