Fraud worth 4.5 billion tenge: OrdaMed chairman put on wanted list
Tengrinews.kz — The chairman of the management board of OrdaMed, Erkin Dlimbetov, has been placed on a wanted list. Information about this appeared on the official portal of legal statistics and special records of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
According to the wanted notice, a search case against Dlimbetov was registered on January 28 in Astana. The initiator of the search is the National Security Committee (NSC).The investigation and search are being carried out by the KNB’s Anti-Corruption Service.

Earlier, the NSC reported uncovering a scheme involving fictitious production of medical devices at OrdaMed. According to investigators, the company’s management used forged documents claiming the existence of domestic manufacturing facilities in Kazakhstan to illegally obtain state preferences for the subsidized supply of 28 types of medical equipment to public healthcare institutions.
In reality, the equipment was imported from abroad. As a result, the state suffered damages amounting to 4.5 billion tenge.
By court sanction, the technical director of OrdaMed, the former chairman of the management board, and the head of the production department have been taken into custody.
