Tengrinews.kz - A team from LLP "Almaty heat networks" has restored heat supply for the residents of the Medeu district, who had been without heat for almost a day.
It was reported that the emergency crew completed repairs on a damaged pipeline (D-800) that was put into operation in 1984. Heat is being gradually restored since 6 AM to residents in the area bounded by Satpayev - Dostyk, and Taimanova streets, as well as the Samal-1, Samal-2, and Samal-3 neighborhoods.
"After the heat supply system is restored by the managing company – KSK, OSI – and the service responsible for the technical maintenance of the facilities, it is necessary to check the internal house networks," the utility company stated.
The department reminded that in the event of any emergency (release of water, steam, etc.), it is strongly recommended not to take independent action and report the incident by calling the following numbers: +7 (727) 378-06-65 (24 hours), +7 (727) 341-07-77 (from 8 AM to 6 PM) or 109.
It is also worth noting that on December 23, residents of many homes in the upper part of the city were left without electricity.
