Tengrinews.kz - A wolf attacked a man near the village of Yeltai in the Atyrau region, 15 kilometers from the winter pastures. The man was saved by his colleagues, who rushed to his aid, according to "Moi Gorod".
According to the akim (governor) of the Yeltai rural district, Dulatbai Sariyev, the attack occurred early in the morning on December 19. Fortunately, the man was not alone, and his companions came to the rescue.
"They tied up the wolf, loaded it into a vehicle, and brought it to the village. The man received all necessary medical assistance at the hospital. On our side, we worked with the veterinary service. Specialists disinfected the vehicle used to transport the wolf. The animal's body was taken to a designated area and burned. Samples were sent for rabies testing, and we are awaiting the results," Sariyev said.
