The President heard a report on the work being carried out and plans for the development of the social and labor sphere in Kazakhstan.
New approaches to providing targeted social assistance were shown to the President. These measures are aimed at increasing the targeting and efficiency of social support.
"Svetlana Zhakupova reported that from January 1, 2025, licensing with per capita financing of Centers for the Provision of Special Social Services will be introduced. Professional standards and training modules have been developed for this purpose. Within the framework of the Concept of Inclusive Policy until 2030, the transition to a social and human rights model of disability is being implemented.
The President was informed about measures to promote employment. According to the Minister, over 804 thousand people were employed in 2024, including over 200 thousand young people. Almost 9 thousand citizens, including persons with disabilities and parents of children with special needs, received grants for the implementation of business ideas," the Akorda statement said.
The head of state was informed about the Innovative Project Navigator, developed to improve the efficiency of public investment and high-quality planning. The system analyzes and forecasts the need for personnel, and also ensures coordination, quality control and monitoring of the effectiveness of projects. The platform is already tracking 755 investment projects worth a total of 33 trillion tenge. As part of their implementation, it is planned to create up to 150 thousand jobs. The navigator will also eliminate unscrupulous suppliers who do not have the necessary labor resources.
The Minister also spoke about the work of the Digital Map of Labor Risks, which helps prevent labor conflicts.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev gave a number of instructions to improve social policy and increase the effectiveness of measures in the social and labor sphere.
