Tengrinews.kz - The long-awaited season of public skating has begun at the high-altitude skating rink Medeu. The season opening was accompanied by a show featuring stars of Kazakhstani pop music.
This year, the rink opened earlier than usual, which was a pleasant surprise for visitors.
"We took into account the wishes of regular visitors, improved the infrastructure, and aimed to create a bright celebration for everyone," noted Olzhas Yersheyev, a representative of Almaty’s sports facilities directorate.
He emphasized that the event was held with minimal budget spending thanks to sponsor support.
We reported that the main celebration would take place on November 2, with an official opening and entertainment program.
