Tengrinews.kz - Under what conditions can Kazakhstan return to its old time zones? Journalists asked First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar about this.
According to the First Deputy Prime Minister, it is necessary to weigh the pros and cons.
"You have raised an important issue. I must say that another part of society, on the contrary, supports the transition to the new time. For example, in Tashkent, which is located near Shymkent, there used to be a one-hour time difference, but now there isn't. People there lived in the same time zone as us, and no one complained. For some people it is convenient, while for others, it is not. As for me, I have gotten used to getting up very early for many years, and for me, this is even better. Some of my acquaintances don't like it, especially those who like to sleep for a long time, while others, on the contrary, prefer it. Therefore, we need to weigh the pros and cons," Roman Sklyar commented.
