Tengrinews.kz - Tourists from France were captivated by the hospitality of a resident from the Mangystau region during their visit to Zhanaozen. The local resident not only provided the necessary assistance but also invited them to his home, where they were fed and offered a place to sleep, citing Lada.kz.
While exploring the city, local resident Jaksilyk Mukhanov met two motorcycle travelers from France who were in need of help. It turned out that the travelers had set off from their hometown of Marseille to Japan two months ago. Along the way, they ended up in Zhanaozen, searching for a specific motorcycle part. However, being a small town, they couldn't find the needed spare part.
Upon meeting Jaksilyk, the guests asked for his help in finding a machinist. After visiting three craftsmen, they still couldn’t resolve their issue. As a result, Jaksilyk offered to make the required part at his home. Initially, he says, the French were skeptical, but eventually, they decided to trust the Kazakhstani local.
As promised, Jaksilyk crafted the necessary part and also invited the travelers to stay at his house.
"We communicated with the guests using Google Translate. As soon as the plov was served on the table, their eyes lit up. It turns out they were familiar with this dish. Later, we enjoyed hot tea with treats," Jaksilyk told the journalist.
After staying with the Kazakhstani, the travelers continued their journey, admitting that they were both shocked and impressed by the hospitality of the local residents.
