Tengrinews.kz - Kazakhstan's Paralympic team has revealed the number of licenses and participants for the Paris Games, which will begin on August 28.
The Paris 2024 Paralympics Games will take place from August 28 to September 8 in Paris. Kazakhstan has won 33 licenses for 44 participants in 9 sports. The names of the athletes who will participate in the Paralympics have also been announced.
Para Table Tennis: Ali Makhulbekov.
Para Canoe: Zhanyl Baltabaeva and Bibarys Spatay.
Para Shooting: Sevda Aliyeva and Erkin Gabbasov.
Para Swimming: Zulfiya Gabidullina, Siyazbek Daliyev, Nurdaulet Zhumagali, Amir Muratbekov.
Para Athletics: Dastan Mukashbekov, Zholaman Yelaman, Gulbakhyt Kairzhanova, Saltanat Abilhasymkyzy.
Para Taekwondo: Nyshan Omirali, Nurlan Dombaev, Kamilya Dosmalova, Milana Krasavtseva.

Para Judo: Bauyrzan Arstanbekov Akmaral Nauatbek, Zarina Raifova, Galymzhan Smagululy, Yerlan Utepov, Dayana Fedosova, Ergali Shamei, Zhurkarmyrza Shukurbekov, Ayala Mereke, Alfiia Tlekkabyl.
Berik Izmangambetov (sitting volleyball) and Sevda Aliyeva (para shooting) have been chosen to carry Kazakhstan's flag at the Paralympic Games.
The youngest member of Kazakhstan's Paralympic team is 18-year-old judoka Alfiya Tlekkybyl, while the oldest is 59-year-old Zulfiya Gabidullina, who will compete in para swimming. Additionally, Kazakhstan's sitting volleyball team ranks among the top six out of 75 countries in the world rankings.
