All six vice presidential candidates rejected the idea of same-sex marriage in the country, during the vice presidential #PiliPinasDebates2016 on Sunday, April 10, 2016. During a “Yes or No” segment of the debate, the candidates were asked, “Do you support same-sex marriage?” All candidates raised their “thumbs down” sign and answered “No”. Hosted by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and media partners CNN Philippines, Rappler, and Business Mirror, the only vice presidential debate was held at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila on Sunday, April 10, 2016.
