Games Today (The Arena, San Juan) 2 p.m. – NU vs FEU 4 p.m. – UP vs UST National University captured its third straight double championship in the UAAP lawn tennis tournament following its convincing wins in the men’s and women’s finals yesterday at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center. The Bulldogs rolled to an easy 3-0 triumph over the University of the Philippines Maroons to complete an undefeated season for the fourth straight year while extending their amazing winning streak to 44 games. It is the league’s second-longest active run, trailing only the 72-game streak of the Adamson softball team. Not to be outdone, the Lady Bulldogs bagged their third consecutive women’s title with a similar 3-0 win over the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses, completing a nine-game sweep of the season.
