Vice President Jejomar Binay’s United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) yesterday sealed a covenant with One Cebu, the largest opposition coalition in Cebu province, to fortify the party’s support in the vote-rich province. The “marriage” between two parties was formally declared by Binay and One Cebu’s gubernatorial bet, former Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) president and general manager Winston Garcia of the powerful Garcia clan of Cebu, in a joint general assembly held in Lahug, Cebu City, on Tuesday.
