Tengrinews.kz – Artificial intelligence gave recommendations to two cities of Kazakhstan.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population with the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry developed an automated functionality for monitoring the rating of akims in the Digital Family Map. The results of the work were shown on the example of the city of Ridder in East Kazakhstan region.
As noted by the department, artificial intelligence identified the TOP-3 vital factors that affect well-being: income, housing, employment. Taking into account the recommendations, AI took a number of measures, as a result of which 177 families improved their situation.
According to Minister Svetlana Zhakupova, artificial intelligence identified problems that akims need to work on directly. For example, the problems in the city of Ridder are a significant number of families that do not pay mandatory pension contributions, which may indicate a high level of unemployment or employment in the informal sector.
The Prime Minister suggested getting acquainted with the situation using the example of the Osakarov district of the Karaganda region.
"Currently, 2382 families of the socially vulnerable category live in the specified territory. The dynamics are positive. Among the significant factors of the risk zone are income and employment. Complaints are recorded in the areas of education, public administration, and documentation. The recommendations of the AI are to develop and implement a target program for the socio-economic development of the district. An important area should be the creation of new jobs, especially in areas that generate stable income," the government press service notes.
"This is the initial stage that we were able to implement. Now we are faced with the task of integrating directly with the Labor Risk Map, where the Akim will be specifically provided with the names of enterprises that allow wage arrears without transferring pension contributions. Also, our Innovation Navigator monitors 755 projects worth 33 million tenge, which are being implemented with the creation of 150 thousand jobs," the minister noted.
"In the Osakarov district, artificial intelligence already gives recommendations on how to deal with families that are not sufficiently protected socially. Such a recommendation will need to be sent to all akims weekly, and the information will need to be updated automatically. Each akim should see where he has what problems. This is a direct benefit of using artificial intelligence. You can analyze it manually yourself, but that requires so many resources and time," Olzhas Bektenov summed up.
Recall: a curious moment occurred during the visiting government meeting in Astana on December 24. The Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry presented the artificial intelligence implemented in test mode in the E-gov mobile application.
