Kazakhstan and Hungary signed a Joint Statement
Tengrinews.kz - Following the negotiations, a Joint Statement was signed, reflecting the two countries' intention to further strengthen strategic partnership and implement joint initiatives, according to the press service of Akorda.
The official delegations of Kazakhstan and Hungary signed the following documents:
Memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary on consular matters;
Agreement on cooperation between JSC "Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund" and the Hungarian National Capital Holding Company for implementing joint investment projects;
Tripartite framework agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakh Invest, and UBM Group on implementing projects for the production of animal feed and premixes in Kazakhstan;
Memorandum of cooperation between JSC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" (Kazakhstan), L.A.C. Holding (Hungary), and Xi'an Free Trade Port Construction and Operation Co., Ltd (China);Memorandum on expanding cooperation between JSC "KazMunayGas" and the Hungarian MOL Group;
Memorandum of understanding in the field of banking between the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market and the National Bank of Hungary.
The President of Kazakhstan arrived in Hungary on a state visit on November 19.
He met with the President of Hungary, Tamas Sulyok. The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to strengthening the Kazakh-Hungarian strategic partnership.
Kassym-Jomart also held a meeting with the Laszlo Kover, speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly, and invited him to Kazakhstan.
The day before, Tokayev and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban attended the UEFA Nations League match between Hungary and Germany.
