The airport press service confirmed that 6 flights are delayed on arrival:

DV722 Aktobe - Astana.

However, the press service clarified that the flights are delayed on arrival in the capital not due to weather conditions.
One flight is delayed - DV1734 Astana - Almaty.

"Astana International Airport is taking all necessary measures to ensure uninterrupted operation in low temperature conditions. As part of preparation for the autumn-winter season, comprehensive measures were taken to maintain the infrastructure and inspect all equipment and machinery involved in winter maintenance. All machines, including snow removal and anti-icing equipment, were checked for operability and prepared for operation in low temperature conditions," the press service reported.

The company also emphasized that the airport "makes every effort to ensure safety and comfort. Let us recall that strong winds are expected in Astana on November 6-7. Forecasters predict a southwest wind with gusts of 23-28 meters per second, sometimes up to 30 meters per second. To prevent accidents due to adverse weather conditions, the Astana Department of Emergency Situations recommends that residents and guests of the capital observe certain safety measures. For example, do not hide from strong winds near the walls of houses, as roof materials may fall.
