President Tokayev meets with the Head of Tatarstan

Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, according to the press service of Akorda.
The head of state met with Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived in Astana for the opening of the 5th World Nomad Games. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked the Rais of Tatarstan for participating in this significant event and noted the high representation of the Russian team, which includes athletes from Tatarstan.
The President of Kazakhstan expressed satisfaction with the development of trade and economic cooperation and emphasized the importance of timely and high-quality implementation of joint projects in engineering and petrochemicals.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked for the invitation to the World Nomad Games and expressed his readiness to implement new projects in high-tech sectors, the IT industry, and other areas of the economy.
The interlocutors also discussed issues of interregional cooperation and the agenda of the upcoming BRICS summit, which will be held in Kazan in October this year.
Earlier, the first competitions of the 5th World Nomad Games started in Astana.
