Russian rescuers have recovered the body of a 47-year-old Kazakh man who went missing after falling off a paddleboard in the sea.
The search and rescue operations in the region have now concluded.
The incident occurred on August 3 in Izberbash, Dagestan. Paddleboards collided with a tube in the Caspian Sea, leading to six paddleboarders being affected. Four were rescued by rescuers, one made it to shore on his own, and three, including two children, were hospitalized. The missing man was the only one not wearing a life jacket.
The man had come to Dagestan for a family vacation. Originally from Ingushetia, he had been living in Kazakhstan for many years.
