The case was brought to light by Aigul Orynbek, a lawyer and member of the National Council for Public Trust, who assisted the victim in securing hospitalization.. The woman posted a video from the hospital showing the victims.
According to the lawyer, the 53-year-old man, during a conflict, beat his wife, threatened her with a knife, and then kicked their three-month-old daughter. The girl was hospitalized and placed in intensive care. By that time, she had suffered a brain hemorrhage.
"A criminal case has been initiated in this matter. The suspect is in custody. A forensic medical examination has been ordered, and investigative activities are underway," the police stated.
