Tengrinews.kz - Two bodies were found while extinguishing a fire in a private house in Almaty.
Authorities revealed that the victims were an elderly couple. Preliminary information suggests that the husband was murdered before the fire started, while the cause of his wife’s death remains unknown.
"A criminal case has been initiated regarding the murder. The suspect was apprehended on the spot and has been placed in a temporary detention facility. Preliminary data indicate that the motive behind the crime was a quarrel and hostile relations. Further details are being investigated," stated the Almaty police department.
