The S.C. Highway Patrol investigated a double fatality Wednesday involving two vehicles on S.C. Highway 61, according to officials. The crash was reported just after 4:45 p.m., according to Sgt. Bob Beres. The area is between Middleton Place and Magnolia Plantation and Gardens.
