Amid Rising Gas Prices, Amazon Prime Is Offering Members a Way to Save at the Pump
It goes without saying that rising gas prices lately are a bummer, and putting a bigger dent in consumers’ budgets. As of publication, AAA lists the average price of regular unleaded gas in the US at $4.13 per gallon, with states like California nearing $6.00. Unfortunately, with everything that’s happening on a global scale, experts anticipate costs at the pump will continue to climb in the immediate future. Thankfully for Amazon Prime Members, Amazon has introduced a way for members to save up to 20¢ off per gallon in a deal that’s good through May 29 and only redeemable on Fridays.

In a promotion running from April 3 through May 29, Prime members can save up to 20¢ per gallon at the pump every Friday. To take advantage of the deal, you need to create a free account with the earnify™ app, which is an official app from BP. Then you must link your Prime account to your earnify™ account. Once that’s done, you can use the earnify™ app to locate gas stations near you participating in the deal. When you’re at a participating location, simply enter your phone number or use the earnify™ app to get the discount.
It’s worth noting that beyond May 29, while Prime members won’t be able to save 20¢ per gallon, they will be able to save at least 10¢ per gallon. Here’s more on the promotion as detailed by Amazon:
“Every Friday from 4/3/26-5/29/26 only, Prime members in the U.S. can save a total of 20¢ per gallon at BP, Amoco, and participating ampm and Thorntons sites. The 20¢ off per gallon is valid for one-time use every Friday from 4/3/26-5/29/26 only. An earnify™ account is free to create and automatically applies 5¢ savings as a baseline offer, 5¢ savings for Prime members, and an additional 10¢ savings during the promotional period to total 20¢ off per gallon during this promotional period.
"Once the promotional period concludes, Prime members will be able to access a total of 10¢ off a gallon at participating stations. If you haven’t already, simply follow the activation steps to link your Amazon account to bp’s app, earnify™. You can then apply the discount at any participating station by simply entering your phone number at the pump or using the earnify™ app.”
