Haryana Police have dismantled an inter-state newborn trafficking racket in Bahadurgarh, arresting seven accused in connection with the case. A daily-wage couple from Punjab allegedly sold their three-day-old baby boy for ₹2.25 lakh, believing he would have a better future. Investigations revealed the infant was being trafficked to childless couples in Delhi for a much higher price as part of an illegal adoption network.
