Disqualified Madhya Pradesh Congress MLA Rajendra Bharti has approached the Delhi High Court challenging his conviction and three-year jail sentence. The case involves forging bank records to illegally obtain interest payments. The trial court had sentenced Bharti for criminal conspiracy, cheating and forgery.
