Scottie Scheffler's Major Personal News Emerges Just Before Masters
Scottie Scheffler and his wife, Meredith, have welcomed their second child to the world. The couple now have two boys, with newborn Remy joining the family last week.
Scottie and Meredith had their first son, Bennett, in the spring of 2024. The almost two-year-old child has seen his father win an unfathomable amount of PGA Tour events in his young life.
Now, the World No. 1 golfer is after his first victory as a father of two.
This week, the whole Scheffler family is in Augusta to support Scottie as he enters the 2026 Masters Tournament as the leading favorite to win his third Green Jacket.
The Schefflers were spotted on site at Augusta National Golf Club on Sunday, according to PGATour.com. Meredith and Bennett watched Scheffler on the range as he warmed up for a practice round, while his parents, Scott and Diane, stood nearby with Remy in a stroller.

Scheffler's last appearance came at The Players Championship, where he finished T22 with a tournament score of 5-under at TPC Sawgrass. He was scheduled to participate in the Texas Children’s Houston Open, but withdrew a few days before the first round due to his son's impending birth.
It took Scheffler three events to notch his first win after Bennett's birth in 2024. The PGA Tour superstar finished T8 at the PGA Championship and T2 at the Charles Schwab Challenge before claiming victory at The Memorial Tournament.
Bennett has been alive for 12 of Scheffler's 20 PGA Tour wins. His most recent victory came at The American Express in late January.
Scheffler and the rest of the 2026 Masters field will begin the iconic golf tournament with its first round on Thursday.
