The Election Commission has approved the creation of 4,660 new auxiliary polling stations in West Bengal. This move aims to improve voter convenience for the upcoming assembly elections. The total number of polling stations in the state now stands at 85,379. Additionally, 321 polling stations will be relocated. Voters will be individually informed about any changes.
