'Survivor' Blood Moon Twist Explained: 3 Players Eliminated in Major Episode 6 Shocker

There was a shocking twist in the latest episode of Survivor 50, which led to three players going home in one night.

At the beginning of the episode, the three tribes merged with 17 remaining players ending up on one beach. They were instructed to head out into the forest to find an advantage, which Ozzy discovered. He learned that he would be going to Exile Island and had to bring one player with him. He chose Rizo as he didn’t know too much about him due to his season of Survivor airing after 50 was filmed.

The remaining 15 players went to the immunity challenge and learned that the “blood moon” twist was in effect this week.

Host Jeff Probst explained that for the first time in Survivor history, three players would be sent home in one night. All of the players who survive this week will be part of the jury, or the final three.

The contestants were separated into three groups for the first individual immunity challenge of the season. The contestant from each group who won the challenge got immunity and the other four players were up for elimination. Each group went to tribal council separately.

Ozzy and Rizo did not have to go to tribal council this week.

So, who went home?

Kamilla Karthigesu – ELIMINATED IN GROUP 1
Previous season: Survivor 48

Kamilla was voted out by Chrissy, Jonathan, and Stephenie.
Tiffany and Kamilla both voted for Chrissy.

Genevieve Mushaluk – ELIMINATED IN GROUP 2
Previous season: Survivor 47

Genevieve was voted out unanimously by Aubry, Christian, Joe, and Rick. She had a feeling she was going home, so she used her shot in the dark for a chance at safety, giving up her vote. She did not earn safety though.

Colby Donaldson – ELIMINATED IN GROUP 3
Previous seasons: Australian Outback, All-Stars, Heroes vs. Villains

Colby was voted out unanimously by Cirie, Coach, Dee, and Emily.
