Megan Thee Stallion Taken to Hospital Mid-Performance in 'Moulin Rouge,' Rep Shares Statement
Megan Thee Stallion has been taken to the hospital.
The 31-year-old entertainer was in the midst of performing in Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Tuesday (March 31) when the show stopped after the first few opening scenes.
Fans started worrying after her hair stylist Kellon Deryck posted on Twitter/X, saying, “Everyone say a prayer for Megan, we are all at the hospital ????”
Now, a rep for the rapper is sharing a statement regarding the situation.

“During Tuesday night’s production, Megan started feeling very ill and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated,” the rep tells Just Jared. “We will share additional updates as more information becomes available.”
According to The Breakfast Club producer Loren Lorosa, who was in the audience for the performance, Megan was great in the opening scenes of the show before they stopped the musical.
“They just stopped moulin rouge mid show apologized to the audience and said ..’stay inside and seated’ I asked security if we’re safe .. they told us ‘for now, we’ll update you if anything changes,’” Loren wrote on Twitter/X.
Megan just made her Broadway debut as Zidler in the Tony award-winning musical last week.
