Gas hits $4 a gallon

The average price of a gallon of gasoline in the U.S. is up to $4, not seen since the pandemic and never before that, even during the 1970s oil crisis.

The national average for a gallon of regular gasoline is now $4.02, more than a dollar higher than when the war began, according to the AAA motoring organisation.
