Rajya Sabha saw a walkout by opposition parties. This followed remarks by BJP member K Laxman. He stated OBC reservation is misused in the name of religion. Union Minister J P Nadda criticized the walkout. He accused the opposition of disrespecting democratic values and the Constitution. The opposition staged a walkout during Zero Hour.
