Amazon's annual Big Spring Sale just kicked off, and once again, the thousands of seasonal deals on everything from grass seed to boxer briefs do not disappoint. The sale, which runs through March 31, is hosting discounts of up to 40% off, and some independent sellers are jumping in with even bigger discounts.
It’s hard to truly fathom how large this sale is. Each search on the site is likely to conjure up dozens (if not hundreds) of sale items. So what should you get? Well, that depends on your spring and summer plans. If adventure is in your future, now would be a good time to pick up a pair of hiking boots or a fitness tracker on sale. If you're interested in budding some plants, Miracle-Gro has a few great deals to shop. There's also plenty of kitchen gear and DeWalt power tools to save on.
After Men's Journal shopped through this year's Big Spring Sale, we found seven picks that are worth looking at before their prices go up.
Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2, $429 (was $799) on Amazon
This is a large capacity portable power station that’s almost universally loved. In fact, we consider it to be one of the best portable power stations for its fast-charging nature (it charges fully in about 50 minutes) and for how easy the unit is to use. All major ports you commonly use are found directly on the front, and you won’t need to think hard to use them. The fact that this is under $450 right now just shows you the muscle the Big Spring Sale is pulling.
What Shoppers Are Saying: “Powers my refrigerator all night long and super easy to recharge.”

Nortiv 8 Waterproof Hiking Boots, $46 (was $57) on Amazon
Nortiv 8 is somewhat of a sensation on Amazon. While it is possible to find decent hiking boots on Amazon, finding consistently great deals isn’t always easy. And then there's this brand.
The Nortiv 8 Waterproof Hiking Boots are made from tough EVA and rubber, and have a rugged outsole with multi-directional lugs. This boot, the Armadillo, is available in seven colorways, all of which rival a Merrell in attractiveness. Both regular and wide sizes are in stock. This is one of your best chances to get a boot under $50 that will keep your socks dry as we face spring showers.
What Shoppers Are Saying: “They are my go-to wear-around boots from farm to town.”

DeWalt 20V Max XR 5.0 Ah Battery 2-Pack, $167 (was $239) on Amazon
We’ve already uncovered a massive range of Big Spring Sale power tool deals, but DeWalt always deserves a second look, as it is the most popular tool brand among homeowners, popularized for the dependability of its tools. This pack includes two 20V batteries at a 5.0 Ah capacity, which means they can run tools for approximately 25% longer than the more common 4.0 Ah batteries we see more often. It’s been months since we’ve seen this price, so check it out now.
What Shoppers Are Saying: “Working well. Larger size equals longer run time.”

Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food 12.5-Pound Bag, $24 (was $30) on Amazon
With the Strait of Hormuz essentially blocked, one of the world’s premier sources of Nitrogen-based fertilizer goes with it. Fortunately, Miracle-Gro is taking the lead at this time, with its high-Nitrogen plant food formula being featured in the Big Spring Sale. Intriguingly, this offer makes the 12.5-pound bag cost less than the 10-pound or 6.25-pound variants. Considering that the spring planting period is likely to close before this situation comes to a satisfactory end, getting this now makes a ton of sense.
What Shoppers Are Saying: “Neighbors rave about our flower garden.”

Chefman Indoor Pizza Oven, $200 (was $400) on Amazon
There are two terrible things about making pizzas at home. The first is the frustratingly long pre-heating time, and the second is that home ovens just don’t bake the same level of flavors into the crust that your local place’s pro-oven does. This mini indoor pizza oven ramps up to 800 degrees in minutes, comes with a crispy-crust-creating pizza stone, and works perfectly for 12-inch pizzas.
What Shoppers Are Saying: “Makes better pizza than 90% of restaurants and I've been to many.”

FitBit Inspire 3 Health and Fitness Tracker, $70 (was $100) on Amazon
Lately, two rugged smartwatch options, the Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Solar and Garmin Epix Pro smartwatches, have gone on sale. But, to coincide with the Big Spring Sale, Amazon’s bestselling activity and fitness tracker finally fell back to its best-ever price.
Getting a fully-functional smartwatch for just $70 is quite something (the Garmins above each cost hundreds, even after substantial discounts) in and of itself. Yet, the FitBit Inspire 3 really doesn’t skimp on the features or details. It includes SpO2 tracking, which Apple was famously barred from providing, and even has a battery life that can extend to 10 days, no small feat for the slim-body watch.
What Shoppers Are Saying: “I've owned several fitness trackers, but the Inspire 3's reliability and usability set it apart.”

It has a brushed interior, making it even softer and cozier from within than it is on the outside.
