'Heated Rivalry' Nominated for 18 Canadian Screen Awards, Including Acting Noms for Hudson Williams, François Arnaud & More!
Heated Rivalry just got a ton more award nominations for the highly successful first season!
The 2026 Canadian Screen Awards nominations were just revealed on Wednesday morning (March 25), with HR receiving a whopping 18, making it the second-highest nominated production this year.

If you’re unaware, the Canadian Screen Awards are put on by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, celebrating “the country’s top talent in the film, television and digital sectors at Canadian Screen Week.”
This year, among Heated Rivalry‘s 18 nominations are individual noms for both Hudson Williams and François Arnaud in the Best Lead Performer, Drama Series category. Unfortunately, Connor Storrie is ineligible to be nominated as he is not Canadian, or a Canadian resident.
Also nominated include several for creator, writer and director Jacob Tierney, plus Sophie Nélisse, Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova, Nadine Bhabha, composer Peter Peter and more.
In addition to Heated Rivalry, Jacob also received a nomination in the Best Reality/Competition Program or Series category for The Traitors Canada, which he’s a producer on.
The 2026 Canadian Screen Awards are set to take place on Sunday, May 31st, hosted by Kim’s Convenience and Run the Burbs star Andrew Phung.
