Joseph Duggar and Wife Kendra Duggar Both Face Child Endangerment Charges

Two days after his arrest for allegedly sexually molesting an underage girl, former reality star Joseph Duggar is facing new charges in his home state.

"The Tontitown Police Department is providing an update regarding the incident reported to our agency on March 18, 2026. As a result of the continuing investigation, additional charges have been filed in this case against Joseph Duggar, age 31, and Kendra Duggar, age 27," the department shared in a press release on Friday, March 20.

Joseph and his wife, Kendra, are both facing four counts of second degree endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of second degree false imprisonment.

Warrants were issued for their arrests, though Joseph is already behind bars in Washington County, Arkansas.

According to local journalist Doug Warner, "At around 1pm, Tontitown PD had agreed to meet Kendra at the Duggar family compound to serve her with the warrants...but she wasn't there."

She later turned herself in, according to Warner.

He added, Tontitown PD "discovered these alleged incidents, leading to the child endangerment and false imprisonment charges, while assisting Florida investigators on the initial case."

The news comes two days after Joseph was taken into custody and charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim less than 12 years old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older.

The original charges stem from an incident that took place while on vacation in Florida in 2020, in which he was accused of molesting a then-9-year-old girl.

Joseph appeared in court today, where he waived his right to an extradition hearing in Arkansas. He now awaits his transfer to Florida.
