‘Mid-low’ Premier League clubs want Pellegrino as Juventus stance explained
Parma striker Mateo Pellegrino has reportedly attracted interest from mid-low table Premier League teams, while Juventus are looking for a more experienced striker for next season.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Parma striker Pellegrino has been targeted by Premier League clubs.
Premier League interest for Pellegrino
“A few teams, not top sides, we are talking about mid-low table Premier League teams, have shown interest in Pellegrino,” Romano said on YouTube.
The clubs interested in the Argentine forward remain unnamed, but Pellegrino has surely attracted suitors thanks to his goal contributions and his attitude in helping the team.
The 24-year-old has scored seven goals and provided one assist in 28 Serie A appearances this season, contributing to 40% of Parma’s league goals.
The Ducali look pretty safe, ten points above the drop zone, but have only netted 20 times in 28 matches, resulting in the weakest attack alongside Lecce and last-placed Pisa.
There were reports from other Italian media outlets that Juventus had set their sights on the Argentine forward, but according to Romano, the Bianconeri are currently focused on other targets and objectives, including Dusan Vlahovic’s contract extension.
